Camp Policies

1. COVID-19

I/we agree to self monitor prior to each dance class and will remain home if showing any symptoms of COVID-19. Symptoms have included: cough, fever, and difficulty breathing. Students must remain home from dance for a minimum of 14 days following any travel outside of Canada and/or following direct contact with anyone testing positive for COVID-19.

Yorkton Troyanda will not be held liable for exposure to COVID-19.


2. Release of Liability

I/we agree to release and hold harmless Yorkton Troyanda including its instructors, dancers, board members and facilities used by Yorkton Troyanda from any cause of action, claims, or demands now and in the future. I/we will not hold Yorkton Troyanda liable for any personal injury or any personal property damage, which may occur on the premises before, during or after classes. Furthermore, I/we agree to obey the class and facility rules and take full responsibility for my/our behavior in addition to any damage I/we may cause to the facilities utilized by Yorkton Troyanda.


3. Medical Emergencies

I/we agree to give permission to Yorkton Troyanda to seek medical treatment for the participant in the event they are not able to reach a parent or guardian. I hereby declare any physical/mental problems, restrictions, or condition and/or declare the participant to be in good physical and mental health.


4. Photography/Social Media

I/we agree to give permission to Yorkton Troyanda to photograph and/or video tape my child in a dance setting. These photos are to only be used within our studio and our social media.

If you do not wish for your child's photo to be used please contact us.


5. Payment Policy

Payment can be made by cash, cheque or etransfer to Yorkton Troyanda. Camp fees are $200 per student. Deposit of $100 to be made at time of registration to hold the dancer’s spot. Remaining $100 MUST be paid prior to start up of camp. No exceptions. If entire $200 camp fee is not received in full prior to 9 a.m. on Monday, August 16, 2021, the dancer will not be allowed to participate.



Please Remember to Bring

Dance shoes, appropriate dance clothing (no loose fitting items or dangly jewelry), hair secured in a braid or bun for girls (no loose ponytails, hair must be secured for proper turning technique), water bottle, bagged lunch for Monday-Thursday, and a positive/ready to have fun attitude!


Please Do Not Bring

Clothing with offensive language or graphics, weapons of any kind, tobacco, alcohol, or non-prescription drugs.


We ask that you please......

  • demonstrate respect for instructors, volunteers and other students at all times
  • arrive at least 5 minutes prior to start of class
  • attend in a well-groomed manner with hair tied back neatly off the face (braid or bun is acceptable)
  • wear dance shoes for classes
  • do not use cell phones during class or activity times; please switch off cell phones or place on silent mode (phones may be used during breaks)
  • put garbage in the bins provided and clean up after yourself
  • show respect and care for the facilities used
