Malanka

Troyanda hosts a Malanka celebration annually in January. This is the major fundraiser for our club and families are required to volunteer for a variety of roles to ensure a successful event.

Christmas Cheer

All groups from Malenkiy to Tryzub present an annual Christmas program in mid-December at various nursing and senior homes in Yorkton. We follow the performances with a pizza party for all of the Troyanda families.

Spring Showcase

Our final concert is held yearly in April at the Anne Portnuff Theatre in the Yorkton Regional High School.

Competitions and Festivals

Troyanda attends 2-3 competitions/festivals throughout the year. Typically the club attends the Tavria Festival in Regina in March and the Kalyna Competition in Yorkton in May. Each group then determines what other competitions they will attend throughout the year. Each dancer will be assessed a competition fee.

NOTE : Malenkiy will not participate in competitions or festivals, we prefer they participate in community performances and Spring Showcase
